Self Certified Mortgages

If you're trying to get a mortgage and you're self employed, a contract worker or you mainly earn by bonus or commission, then you need help from self certified mortgage specialists. Self-certification mortgages and remortgages, also referred to as non status mortgages, mean that you have to provide no proof of income but you are likely to need a good deposit.

Non status and self cert remortgages are certainly a good option for raising funds to consolidate debts or for home improvement and if you are moving and unable to provide proof of income, then they are the only way you are likely to get the property you want.

Self cert mortgages and remortgages can be hard to get in this market but why should the self-employed have more difficulty in mortgaging or remortgaging than those who do have proof of income? Why shouldn't contract workers and the self employed get great mortgage deals and the cheapest mortgages around? Both are likely to be risking their home, as whether you are a contract worker, on bonus and commission payments or in full time, regular salaried employment, risks in this current market are high for all.
